Guidelines for use
1. **Timing of application**: Propamocarb is usually applied before or after rice sowing and before the germination of weed seeds, with soil closure treatment. At this time, the weeds have not yet emerged from the soil, the absorption capacity of the herbicide is the strongest, and the herbicidal effect is good.
2. **Dosage and method**: The dosage should be flexibly adjusted according to the soil texture, weed species and density, climatic conditions and other factors, generally following the recommended dosage on the product manual. When applying, mix propamocarb with appropriate amount of fine soil or water, evenly sprinkle or spray on the soil surface, and then lightly rake the soil mixture to make full contact between the agent and the soil.
3. **Precautions**: Ensure that there is no stagnant water in the field before application to avoid loss of the agent with water; avoid application on windy days or days when rain is expected to prevent the agent from being drifted or washed away; wear protective clothing when using the product to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes.
Environmental Impact
Although prochloraz has been instrumental in improving agricultural productivity, its impact on the environment should not be overlooked.
