Product Description
The precision guardian in the rice field
Bensulfuron, chemically known as methyl 2-[[[[(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl)amino]carbonyl]amino]sulfonyl]benzoate, is a selective systemic conductive herbicide. It is well known for its efficient control of weeds in rice fields, and is particularly good at dealing with annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and weeds of the Salicaceae family, such as duckweed, eyedropper, knapweed, and oxalis, etc., while showing a very high degree of safety to rice itself.
**Mechanism of action**:
Bensulfuron is absorbed through the roots and leaves of rice, and then rapidly conducted to the whole plant, inhibiting the activity of acetolactate synthase in weeds, thus blocking the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids, resulting in the cessation of growth, yellowing of leaves, and eventual death of the weeds. This process has a negligible effect on rice, ensuring crop safety.
**Application Advantages**:
- **High efficiency and low toxicity**: bensulfuron has low toxicity to humans, animals and aquatic organisms, and is environmentally friendly.
- **Long persistence period**: a single application can control weeds for a longer period of time, reducing the number of applications.
- **Good compatibility**: It can be mixed with other pesticides or fertilizers to improve operational efficiency.
